
Ms Pauline Nansamba Mutumba
Director Complaints, Investigations & Legal Services (CIL).
Ms. Pauline Nansamba Mutumba is an Advocate of courts of Judicature with 16 years of public service. She joined the service in 2009 as an Officer and is currently the Director Complaints, Investigations and Legal Services at Uganda Human Rights Commission.
Ms. Nansamba’s areas of practice over the years include human rights, litigation, legal advisory, employment and Administrative law. She is passionate about the rights of women and girls and the youth especially social, economic and cultural rights.
Previously Ms. Nansamba worked with the Inspectorate of Government before joining the Uganda Human Rights Commission. She also served as a part time lecturer at Uganda Christian University where she taught Tort and International law among others. In addition to a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University and a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice, Pauline holds a master of laws in International Economic Law from the University of South Africa and a post graduate diploma in Public Administration and Management from Uganda Management Institute.
