Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) joins over 100 Government, Ministries and Agencies (MDAs) participating in this year’s Taxpayers Appreciation Expo taking place from Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th September 2018 at Kololo Independence Grounds. The Commission is already on site showcasing its services to members of the public at stall number 161 as a way of accounting to the taxpayers how their taxes are being put to use.
The ongoing Taxpayers Appreciation Exhibition which is being spearheaded by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) at Kololo Independence Grounds was officially launched today by the Third Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Moses Ali as early as 8:00am.
The official opening ceremony at Kololo Independence was also attended by heads of MDAs and Commissioner Meddie Mulumba represented the Chairperson of the Uganda Human Rights Commission who had another engagement. Also, in attendance was Hon David Bahati the State Minister for Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
